Little Women Hospitality Club

"The Catholic Charm School for Young Ladies"

St. Patrick will again offer another year of the "Little Women Hospitality Club," and offshoot of the Little Flowers Girls' Club, which again will focus on the virtues of hospitality and joyfully serving others. This is the second year of a 2-year curriculum.

Ages: Geared toward girls around ages 10 and up but we will welcome younger girls.

Where: St. Patrick Parish Center, 304 E. Vine Street, Tolono, IL.

When: Monthly meetings September-May from 6:15-8 pm. See below for full schedule.

Meetings: The focus of this group is on hospitality and joyfully serving others. Each meeting will also feature a separate virtue to practice. The girls receive a charm bracelet "charm" for each skill they learn. We will open each meeting with the Magnificat prayer, followed by a holy inspiration and a short, easily remembered "aspiration" such as "Mary, handmaid of the Lord, pray for us." We will read from literature such as "Little Women" and discuss the passage. Finally, we'll practice the skill for that month with fun hands-on activities and enjoy a snack.
